I guess this is evidence that he might be taking more from Trump.

Regardless of that, I still wish he wasn't in the race at all, no matter who he hurts more.

What if the race is close enough that he literally costs Trump an EV victory?

I would need some significant assurance that would happen in order to back him as a spoiler. As of right now, I still think its pretty ambiguous as to whom he takes more votes from.
