It's a Big Forum

There are a number of subforums on this Forum, including many topics of interest and relevance for me.  I also have come to know a number of you here on as much of a personal basis as I can.  I am posting this because someone indicated that I had left the Forum.  This is not so; I have had a number of pressing matters going on over the last week.

I am not going to get involved in discussions about the Presidential Race, with the exception of the "horse race" aspect of this.  I consider the events of New York Courts to be the worst of Lawfare, and I consider the proceedings in New York to be gross violations of the Former President's 6th, 7th, and 8th Amendment Rights.  I also believe that the majority of the Forum either don't believe this, or know this to fully be true, but view the ends as justifying the means.  I also realize that I'm not going to persuade anyone here of a different view on the subject.  But while I can be convinced otherwise, I doubt I could be convinced otherwise by members of this Forum who have been adamantly opposed to Donald Trump since 2015.  I consider the court proceedings as Lawfare, and I consider Joe Biden's Presidency to be an unmitigated disaster.  There's not a lot of difference splitting between those two positions.

People I know in real life know what my opinions are.  I haven't lost a friend or damaged a relationship yet over that, nor have I shunned others who feel otherwise.  This is going to be my posture going forward for on this subject.  There are lots of other things to discuss here.  And I'm going to discuss those things.  Perhaps I will find people equally unpersuadable on some of those other topics, but perhaps not.  This is the route I have chosen to take.

well that is interesting, I have not heard that, but if they violated his 6th, 7th, and 8th amendment rights that sounds like it would make the whole thing WACK bcuz thats the BILL OF RIGHTS, it's very important to our nation!

I am wondering how tho - he got a jury trial and everything?? but i am also not super familiar with all the nuances of it. Curious to hear your perspective on how they violated it, if u would be ok mentioning? u might be able to convince me even tho i said u know u couldnt convince anyone on here of it tbh, i am open to hearing anything, that is part of what makes this nation GREAT - ppl can disagree on stuff, we have FREEDOM OF SPEECH!

I think you will find an endless discourse of opinions over the next 6 months from Americans about state and federal law, misdemeanors etc.

Trump is guilty beyond all doubts of 34 felonies.
If someone wants to spin that they need to ignore this fact.
It isn't up to debate. It makes about as much sense as it would be to deny my own existence.

The Scottsboro Boys were guilty of rape, weren't they?  Wasn't that verdict beyond doubt in the eyes of the jurors when it was handed down?

My position here is based on the highlighted part.  I will not convince people with facts.  People here are no more open to arguments as to the fairness of the Lawfare against Trump then the White population of Scottsboro, AL were to the possibility of the innocence of the Scottsboro Boys.  That's the issue.  I concede to the reality of what the Forum is at this point in time.
