Sequel to this: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=177686.0

And a bit trickier. I'll vote for NYC, Chicago, Minneapolis, Madison and San Francisco.

What is your perception of the differences between the white evangelicals in these cities?

Also how many white evangelicals are there even in these cities? I cannot think of a Chicago neighborhood that would have any sort of white evangelical presence.

I did a few quick googles. On average maybe 5% of the largest cities are Evangelical. Of course they probably have a higher share in their suburbs.

Virtually all large cities have some white Evangelical or even fundamentalist congregations even if not as prominent as in say Charlotte or Houston. I'm curious how Obama did with say the congregants of Redeemer Presbyterian in NYC or Park Street Church in Boston, considering such congregations are heavily titled towards young professionals.

They're not neccesarily concentrated in any area or neighborhood, but just generally spread through the city. But in regards to Chicago: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus_People_USA

And based on the DRA results for its precinct, they aren't voting Republican.

I imagine that just by living in a city like New York and being around a lot of gay people white evangelicals, at least the younger ones would be more inclined towards a social justice oriented theology so likely to be somewhat more moderate or liberal then their rural southern or Midwestern evangelical cousins.

We're everywhere, even in secular Western Europe.
