I have no idea who this is, but it seems like a bold choice.

But, I still think they should just cancel the show.  Topical humor doesn't work when the subject is as culturally irrelevant as TV news.

He's definitely funny, but hosting The Daily Show seems like such a huge jump for him. Really, really would have preferred Jessica Williams.

This just strikes me as one of those "we have no idea who to give it to so we more or less chose someone at random" decisions.

Like Eraserhead I don't see the show lasting for very long after Stewart leaves.

Amy Schumer's worth that much when all she has is a no-recognition show on CC?! I love her, and I think she would have absolutely been a better choice, but that seems like an odd placement for her anyway. I don't think I could see her on the Daily Show doing much political stuff.
