Who are your favorite Governors? Choose up to sixteen (bracket series obviously to follow).

Partisan Democrats will have to kick two off the team Sad

There aren't many good people on this list of scoundrels, but I have to go with Bill Walker, Jerry Brown, John Hickenlooper, John Bel Edwards, Kate Haslam, and Terry McAuliffe.

My favorite Republicans are Brian Sandoval, Bill Haslam, and Charlie Baker, who have all done quite a few things that are completely opposed to the Nationial GOP/Grover Norquist vision of Governance. Baker used to be easily topping the list before his whole weak Syria stand, but still I appreciate a Republican who is focused on effecient government over small government. Haslam has too much love here from weirdo "moderate" Republicans, but he gets a lot of credit for free community college, and Sandoval managed to pass the largest tax increase in Nevada history so that the state has a consistent revenue stream.

I was only willing to vote for 7 at this time: Walker (AK), Hutchinson (AR), Scott (FL), LePage (ME), Snyder (MI), Otter (ID), and Kasich (OH).

Malloy for annoying FreeBird. J Brown for being bonkers. McAuliffe for being better than expected. Tom Wolf for having a cool name. JBE for having severely high energy. Dayton is cool as well. Bullock is OK. Bill walker was pretty cool on Medicaid.

I don't really think anybody else is worth defending. Kate Brown seems nice but has a history with Comcast. Raimondo is an austerity freak. Everyone hates inslee. If you govern Delaware you might as well be leading the cayman islands. Nixon is a tool. Shumlin is weakass and low energy. Ige defeated angry hero abercrombie. All republicans are tools.

Jerry Brown, Mark Dayton, Peter Shumlin, Earl Ray Tomblin, and maybe even Bill Haslam because he's moderate

I have a different opinion than you, and I think they have and will continue to do a good job. I'm surprised that you don't like their social Conservativism.

Moonbeam, Hickenlooper, Rauner, Hogan, Baker, Snyder, Sandoval, Martinez, Kasich, McAuliffe.

Kate Brown and Tom Wolf are FFs to me until proven otherwise, so I guess them as well.

Bevin hasn't even taken office. How can he be a good or bad governor?

I included him and Edwards so this poll can be relevant for more than another month or so.

But yeah Bevin is pretty horrible tbh

Makes sense. I don't like Bevin on a personal level for challenging McConnell in 2014, but I generally agree w/ his views.

I voted for all the Democrats except Hassan and Raimondo in the interest of choosing as many as possible. However, if I had to vote only for people I actually like, I'd say J. Brown, Hickenlooper, Markell, Ige, Edwards, K. Brown, Wolf, Shumlin, and Inslee.
