More brainwashing is the only way he can graduate from HS says the school district.  link

Of course many here will approve of the school's actions and all of them are horrible people.

I think my favorite part was the school calling the cops...I guess they thought there was a law about it?  I wonder how sad and confused they were when they found out about the 1st Amendment.

The school claims there is more to the story but they can't say what for privacy reasons.  And the video is shockingly bad, but this is a NJ public school we're talking about here.  The kid claims he got an A, but the teacher can't even remember giving the assignment.

Getting an A in high school is pretty trivial TBH.

More to the story, but again you want everyone to think you are some fighter for pointing something out you find dumb.  Congrates since that is all you want.

This is US General Discussion and you're annoyed at someone starting a misleading thread? C'mon now.

Yeah, more than likely. I know that when I was in high school, I would save files with joke names. For instance, I once did a report on MacBeth and saved it as "kill everyone: the book", which obviously would've sent someone into a f--king panic if they saw it on a public computer. Perhaps that was the case here.

Judging from the order for a psychological exam, there was probably something that concerned the school and needed to be looked at.

Students free speech rights were violated. He should fight the suspension.

There's literally nothing in that article to indicate that the kid was suspended because of his views on gun control.

Remember the kid who "got suspended for saying he was going to hunt a dinosaur?" Yeah...
