It's really interesting that the two most immigration friendly candidates, Bush and Rubio, do a lot better in the south than elsewhere. I really don't think it's solely cause they're based in Florida. Rubio did really well in a South Carolina poll and now Bush is crushing the competition in Mississippi. Could it be that being the hub for slavery has opened up southern whites' minds when it comes to immigration, being it legal or illegal?

Hehe right. Well they should know about Rubio's prime position as the media kept talking about it nonstop for months. Concerning Bush it's probably cloudier though.

Huh, interesting. Mississippi doesn't exactly strike me as a "Bush state".

I guess they like compassionate conservative in Mississippi though? At least as long as that compassion is shown towards white people mostly.

Mississippi is by far the poorest state, so some level of compassion might be welcome I guess.
