Agreed.  I sent him a PM a while ago about coming back; he responded, but said that he would not be posting again.

Honestly, I regret losing him (more than you might think), but it was his own fault he got banned.

He was banned? I thought he just left voluntarily?

Yeah, Mikado may be referring to jmfcst while everyone else is talking about JSojourner, who is not banned.
