HS. It has terrible politics and laws. I can't stand heat combined with humidity, let alone the possibility of hurricanes, so that's a big negative on the weather aspect. I can stand the heat, but not the humidity.

I've never been there, sadly. I would probably enjoy Florida, more than the Midwest at least. What's with all the hate?
It's a hot sprawled out swamp full of tourists, rednecks, and old, pushy New Yorkers. What's to like?

It would probably be a bit too hot for me in the summer, the only place that would be enjoyable (weather wise) in the summer would be the beaches in the Panhandle, I don't mind rednecks really at all, but I can go on a rant about how much I hate New Yorkers.

Terrible terrible state. Weather, politics, laws, olds, everything. And to top it all off probably the worst Governor in America.

I've never understood why you enjoy Upper Midwest weather. It's either unbearably humid or cold (I guess last winter was an exception) and the weather pattern is nonsensical. In late March, over the course of a few hours, I went from sitting on the beach in Miami to driving through 8 inches of snow in St Louis. Is it just because you like girls in hoodies?

Hardly. Midwest springs and falls are awesome. I like the weather now. Sure i could do without the 2-3 days a year it's brutally cold in January/February (I get my standard of "brutally cold" is probably a lot higher than most people's), but I don't think I could psychologically deal with a Florida weather cycle and not having four seasons well.

Greatest state in the greatest nation. There's a reason people from all over the world migrate to Florida.

People move there from all over the world because it's desirable. Compare the population growth in the last 50 years in Florida to Michigan. One place is more desirable and livable for people all over the world and that's why one has grown in population and the other declined. My opinion of Florida is pretty much what most others think of Florida. I used to live there after all.
