Ha ha what the hell? Everything I've had is only for around $100 a month, not that I have any because I don't spend $100 a month on medical expenses anyway so it doesn't work in my favor.
You really should get at least a high-deductible plan. Even if you don't get very much from the insurer, the discounts they strongarm from hospitals and other healthcare providers will be worth it if you ever get in an accident that isn't someone else's fault.It's not at all unusual for there to be a discount in the 50% or higher range from the bill before they even start to calculate copay and deductibles.
