I'm really confused as to why he thinks nominating Ryan is better than stealing Trump's nomination with Cruz. Its worse both ideologically (from a libertarian perspective) and electorally.

WSJ: The Real Kasich threat

Not sure this is really an endorsement but it is definitely a very strong opinion: "..Mr. Kasich did the public service of winning Ohio’s delegates—with which Mr. Trump might have locked up the nomination—and he deserves a chance to see if he can win Pennsylvania or pick up delegates in the East and California. He has no hope of reaching 1,237 delegates before the convention, but what Messrs. Trump and Cruz really fear is that the convention might want to nominate a potential winner."

Former CIA and NSA Director Michael Hayden for Kasich, with some scathing comments for both Trump and Cruz on national security:

“Governor John Kasich, who served 18 years on the House Armed Services Committee, is the one candidate in the entire field with the best experience, expertise and leadership skills required to be Commander-in-Chief....Governor Kasich has serious proposals to strengthen our military, defeat ISIS and stand up for freedom around the world—proposals that rise far above bumper-stickers and amateur rhetoric.”....Hayden has also taken issue with Donald Trump's proposals to reinstate enhanced interrogation techniques such as waterboarding and Ted Cruz's assertion that he would "carpet-bomb ISIS into oblivion."

Montana Sen. Steve Daines will probably endorse Cruz.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/06/politics/ted-cruz-wisconsin-senators-donald-trump/index.html

But one more senator might add his support: Montana Sen. Steve Daines, a freshman whose state votes June 7 and could have an outsized role in the nominating contest. Daines told CNN he's traded voicemails with Cruz and is considering an endorsement.

"We're still kicking the tires," Daines said.

Daines previously endorsed Rubio, so it would make sense for him to endorse Cruz now

I expect to see NY Post and Daily News covers about Cruz's Bronx visit tomorrow.  It didn't go so well.

Nathan Towne is endorsing John Kasich. I also heard that Jim Risch seems to have endorsed Ted Cruz.
