Unfortunately. In my current area, they're almost the offer that can't be refused. Hopefully, it is a stain relegated solely to undergrad.
This is another thing. Some parts of the country are much more Walmart-dense than others. Out here, if you want to shop cheap, Fred Meyer, Target, the dollar store, etc. are all generally more accessible options than Walmart.
This. We always went to Meijer or Target as a kid (though I've been to Wal Mart a few times) because that was more convenient. All the stores seem pretty similar to me, tbh.
