N.W.A. - Straight Outta Compton (Uncut)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MrQtOoQRpc

One member is in family friendly fare and another is the biggest producer.  People didnt see that coming.

Even back then Dre's producing skills were well known.

Anyway reminded me of this classic from Ice Cube "Check yourself"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aAbOgdbTbM&feature=related

Ha. Ive been on a old school you tube run.  It is so different.  Some is corny and some is just great.  Tupac in Digital Underground is another wtf...

Paranoid Android - Radiohead

Is it me or does this song have a lot of similarities to The Beatles' Happiness Is A Warm Gun?

Which song of the 4 songs in there?  I like Radiohead but it really is depressing as all hell.  I think Creep is their only song that doesn't make me want to jump off a building.

edit: National Anthem only has that affect on my friends when I play it in a bar.

I'm not listening to anything right now, but I do like Mortal Love and Virgin Black, and I listen to their songs often.  I've been into gothic metal as of late.

The Steeleye Span recording (early '70's) of Blackleg Miner. "So join the union while you may, don't wait till your dying day, for that might not be far away..." or something like that. Great stuff.

I can't stop hearing Miss Maggie by Renaud. The air isn't so great, but I really love the lyrics, which reflect exactly what I always thought ( and FYI, I'm not refering to the last verse of each stance).

Which song of the 4 songs in there?

Not so much actual music of Paranoid Android but rather the format and the structure of the song in general, which, in comparison with Happiness is a Warm Gun, shares similar characteristics such as distinctive sections, with a change in lyrics, its musical structure, etc.

The eurotrash hit that Swizz sampled for that song is actually much better.

J.U.S.T.I.C.E. -- "Dance"

It's difficult to hear, but trust me, that's what Swizz turned into "On To the Next One".  I love it.  Tongue
