A song of France Gall, that you might know, could please you, it is:

Les sucettes à l'anis, that's Serge Gainsbourg who wrote it for her while she was a teen, it's an innocent song about lollipops in appearance, but it would appear to be a very suggestive song about a girl loving other kinds of lollpop, and France Gall said that she innocently sang it without being aware of the double sens, and all young girls who loved it weren't either iirc... Smiley

An other song like that:

Angela, from Saian Supa Crew, in the beginning of the 2000s it has been a big hit during one summer, and the same thing, young girls loved this so cute song, but at the end of summer, the sense of lyrics which are in Creole were known, and the refrain of song says: 'Angela, I want to take you by the butt, when your daddy is not here, Angelaaaa'...Smiley

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nx70UaZgJew

Not bad song.

An other one not bad from the Saian Supa Crew, old of more than one decade:

Raz de marrée - Saian Supa Crew

Haha, thanks!  As usual you contribute some very satisfying stuffs.  You know the France Gall one I contributed above which mentions 'she found her dog' (something like Jai Retrouve Mon Chien) contains photos of her with old men on leashes!

I liked that quite a lot.  Do you ever listen to that guy, TRS-80?  Perhaps a little crude or heavy handed but hits the spot, and anyway its my exposure to that type of stuffs.

Jingle Masai - Mozart Dj
The Stranglers - Peaches (1975)
France Gall - France Gall Cet Air-Lá

From Google translate:
France Gall This air then
When they are long days of rain
When I'm alone when I'm bored
In a monotonous rhythm
Deep down your name resonates

I still look like that
Who comes to speak with you
For singing that tune
I can think only of yourself

When turn in my life
I n't'ai not seen this week
I say like a mantra
In my pillow that I love you

[Más Letras in es.mp3lyrics.org/EvVl]
I still look like that
Who comes to speak with you
For singing that tune
I can think only of yourself

On the sad a station platform
If one day life separates us
Or that your heart changes route
I shall have mine routed

It will look like this
Forever in my heart
For forever look like that
Talk to you and me

It will look like this
Forever in my heart
And I know that tune
Will bring you to me

You fell in love with France Gall, well with her teen period. Her most famous song from this period in France, along with 'Les sucettes à l'anis' have been:

Poupée de cire, poupée de son, she won eurovision 1965 with that, not for France though:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-d2mnuhJahU

She had an other period then, in which Michel Bergé wrote him a lot of songs, a more 'mature' period, more '80s varieties' too, more 'womanish' too (way to say it), not bad songs from too, like these:

Diego

My Heart Will Go On / Celine Dion 1997

My friend noted that a part of my Writers' Craft assignment is eerily similar to the song, so.

You fell in love with France Gall, well with her teen period.

I guess I did.. I never knew she originated 'Chick Habit' (April March version) from that Death Proof film:

France Gall - "Laisse tomber les filles" (1964)

Nor did I know it was written by Serge Gainsborough! Though I suppose the lyrics are somewhat different.

And by the way April March is a new sweety for me to discover as well!:

April March - Mingnonette

Sorry chaps I just have to add the lyrics to this one:

Courtesy of Google translate:
Proposals dishonest
Grounds pernicious
We must learn to stand up
For the sordid temptations
I like honest boys
But I prefer the label
bottle collection
Liqueurs, perfume bottle

I would be
A statue
A cracked

It is my pleasure to honor
The virtues Promotional
These cheerleaders glass
At attention your butt in the air

I would be
A statue
A cracked

In my room a little some
My elixirs prepubertal
Are arranged in staggered
On a small shelf
Their company-operation
When I tristounette
I really very nice
Eyes closed I head

I would be
A statue
A cracked
I would be
A specimen
A cracked
I would be
A real chick
A Miniature
I would be
A Bambinette
A Miniature
