Here is the list of the top 10 wealthiest ethnic groups in America: (Source)
1. Indian American : $86,130
2. South African American : $81,912
3. Filipino American : $76,954
4. Taiwanese American : $73,988
5. Maltese American : $72,847
6. British American : $72,268
7. Russian American : $72,179
8. Australian American : $72,104
9. Latvian American : $71,797
10. Iranian American : $68,028

As an Indian American myself, I think that we are the wealthiest ethnic group in the country because most Indian immigrants have above-average educational attainment levels (Bachelor's & Master's degrees), and tend to go for high paying jobs. There are plenty of Indian doctors, engineers, and etc. My father himself is a doctor. Also, most Indian children/teenagers tend to excel in school.
