Sadly, my reaction was, "Oh thank god it was a drunk driver and not an Islamist terrorist who would be Trump's Reichstag Fire."
I'm hoping the same too (for different reasons), because I really don't feel like worrying about going to street parties now.

since something similar happened in germany in late autumn - you may now know since NO ONE covers those - i instantly thought about 20 dead people and terrorism.

Same, although I was thinking of the similarly completely ignored Nice attack.
You.....you are kidding right? I saw like seven days of nonstop coverage of Nice.
