Not if you understand politics, tbh.
I thought he would be too far left. The narrative tended to be that Corbyn was too extreme to win back voters who would be drawn to May's Brexit stances. Turns out May was a terrible candidate and somehow Corbyn wasn't too far left for the British rust belt voters. I've always been a proponent of "Bernie would have won", but I thought Corbyn was too radical.

I don't think that's strange at all.
I mean it's a similar backlash against inequality and unfettered globalization, but Corbyn has made statements in favor of Hamas and Hezbollah. I saw him as far too extreme.

How come Lib Dems did well in some random seats but not in places right next to them? For example, North Norfalk.
