The PC police are very discriminatory. Racists saying something that might be implied/subtle racism is punished far more than non-racists saying something that might be implied/subtle racism.

The PC police lack self-consciousness. They can voice closely-held beliefs that are fundamentally quite racist, but they don't notice or care because they are convinced that they are the ones in the right.

That's why they changed the definition of racism so that now instead of "discrimination on the basis of race" to them it means "something something evil white people". That way the new definition of racism is inherently racist, and being opposed to racism is now itself construed as racism because not discriminating on the basis of race "perpetuates" evil white beliefs like color-blindness. Kind of like the Orwellian freedom is slavery argument.

Really, Freedom is Slavery would be an excellent slogan for the SJW crowd. Their collectivist argument has led them to the conclusion that self-advancement is an illusion and the individual experience is irrelevant (unless it is to congratulate themselves on being so special and oppressed). It is no mistake that people have to be taught to think in this manner; it runs so far counter to how people naturally tend to think.
