Back in 2012, it was the Obama campaign's darkest hour after his poor first debate and Willard Mitt Romney was seemingly in command of the election. However, when all hope seemed lost, VP Joe Biden stepped up to the plate and brutally eviscerated Paul Ryan. The Romney/Ryan ticket never recovered.

Could Tim Kaine save the day in a similar scenario?

First of all, no chance in hell Trump doesn't get embarrassed in the debates. Terrible format for him, and won't be a farce like the Republican debates were.

The VP debate will be a snoozefest for sure, will be very low energy, and Kaine isn't really capable of being an attack dog like Biden was.

Probably not. Seems too passive to me.

Yeah, I think the Kaine pick was a good one for her.

While I believe the Tim Kaine selection for VP is a very good one, when Hillary falters, there is nobody strong enough to save the day for her. Nobody.

Yes, he would make a far better president than she.

No. If Hillary wins (which she probably will), it will be because of Hillary or because of Trump's obvious issues, not because of either VP pick.

This is only somewhat helpful being edited the way it is, but Tim Kaine certainly seems competent in this video, and certainly his attack landed way better than George Allen's...
