Very disappointing that it appears I will have to drop my accountancy minor with half a course to go. I scored by far the highest on the midterm in spite of taking a full year off from the first course of the financial accounting sequence, but it appears even that isn't enough to salvage the grade I need with my prof's cutoff standards which haven't changed since literally 1965. (Yes, this is severely ironic coming from someone who has spent countless time writing about the disaster of grade inflation, but it doesn't help when only one professor in a school works to counter it! It throws everything out of whack. We need a movement!)

Cast the first vote of my life for John R. Kasich (R-OH). Also, with the Michigan primary tomorrow, I'm trying to fan the flames of war. Too bad no one on Facebook will have the necessary depth of knowledge to know what I mean when saying "Let's hope that a state built on the UAW knows how to vote tomorrow!"

You'll always be an honorary member of the revolution. If the purges come, I'll be sure you're kept out of the camps.

I swear these people they're sending here - they're criminals; they're rapists; they're murderers; they're serial campaign contribution law violators, - and some, I assume are good people.

I finally answered a campaign call (accidentally) this evening after missing the last three poll calls. It was Bernie Sanders volunteers. So, it is customary to politely lie to these people about who you are voting for, correct? Cuz I don't think I could've gotten into it with them tonight.

I never think it customary to politely lie to canvassers. They are trying to identify support that will help the campaign determine where it will spend resources. If they were given any training they should be able to handle a polite refusal without getting into a debate with the voter. The refusal tells the campaign what it needs to know and the volunteer can move quickly on to the next prospect.

Gotcha, I just screamed it fast cuz I had an incoming call, so hopefully they don't make decisions on that. Thanks for the help. I tend to panic on phone calls -- avoid at all costs generally

So, does anyone have any cool things to see or do down in Houston? I was thinking of going to Galveston, but that seems to be a bit far, and all the more local suggestions are like generic things I could do anywhere. I may have half a day to do whatever down there if all goes well. Considering the Waterwall but open to anything.

Clicked back to the Atlas homepage, I got this warning message that my computer had been likely infected by a virus, got asked the answers to 2+1 and 1+1. Anyone know of some good free antivirus?

This happens when you are on mobile data usually. I always get that. I think you're fine.

It's incredibly crazy out there folks. We need to cancel classes until we can figure out what is going on.

What??? Why???

The White People Riots (i.e. sports celebrations). We have a 1.5-day week for all intents and purposes.

I came into my apartment yesterday, and there was a 6 page Spanish-language newspaper on my couch opened to an article about protests and discontent at a Trump rally. XD In case, I go missing, you all should probably know. A rapist or murderer (or possibly good person) may have left it there.

Added a fifth school to my list of places to look at for graduate school.

Looking forward to hearing this decision in depth in your real update.

Roseanne Barr called me a "stupid ho" and a "toad" on Twitter. God do I love her!

Roseanne is an all-American treasure Purple heart Congratulations!

I reckon if Trump weren't on the ballot, my vote would go to her and her kooky little party. "I'm independent and a socialist" baha

Two servers tricked me into kicking a party of 15 out after being there for a couple hours,  Got yelled at by my boss. Had to pay $50 out of pocket for the loss the restaurant suffered from my mistake

I'm pretty impressed you know a show as niche as Suburgatory! I guess Austria must be a first world country after all if you have such quality programming.

Tonight I inadvertently dragged my family to a suburban hipster Catholic church (with a thriving lgbt community!). In spite of the gorgeous Scandinavian architecture, it's safe to say we will not be going back. I literally checked about 12x during mass to ensure it was actually Catholic. Discuss with 15 polls, Brtd.

What the hell happened there. Did they forget Agnus Dei or something?

It followed the standard mass, but we kept eyeing each other because something was seriously off about this place. The greeters, the pamphlets (!), the chairs (!!), the Eucharist/lines, the hymns, the altar, the people, even some of the priest's phrasing - felt very non-sectarian. Quite out there, but I guess I like knowing that exists. Not for me though.

Again, the atypical architecture didn't help that perception.

Man, Cathcon, you motor vehicle operators are absolutely out of control. You should all be shut down until we can figure out what is going on and get a proper system of checks in place to determine which drivers can operate safely.

I've alluded to my intentions once previously, but beginning today, I rejoin the party of my ancestors by submitting my registration for the Democratic Party! Great Honor!

So, you don't support Trump anymore?

Que?! No! It's the other 15 (not Christie) candidates that helped send me packing for the downballot races

I'm only saying this because I don't hate you: You are acting like a complete idiot, and you better get out now and/or remedy this. I can't believe you are going about such an immoral action that hurts people so casually - like nothing I've ever seen. I am going to assume any actions have not been undertaken, and I do not want to find out if there is follow through please.
