Yup. People can scream about Trump all they want, but he beat out 16 fairly solid contenders for the GOP nomination
I think this is exactly the point many people here are missing--he had to contend with 16 opponents, who got roughly 55% combined. Trump will be facing a single main opponent in the general election and wont have 4-5 top-tier candidates for the opposition to split among. Whether he wins the general election or not is really an unknown at this point but it'll be close either way. But people need to stop using his primary win against predictions for GE reasoning, because the more candidates there are the harder predicting the outcome is.
