Well... I'll post the first part of what I will do and wait for an answer on my question.

1) I would like to spend 500 hours fundraising.

2) I would like a L3 campaign organization.  We came to Iowa to win.  Smiley

So... do we get to save up hours?  Meaning, if I don't use all 2,000 hours in Iowa, do I then get to transfer that to, say, South Carolina?

I have this same question as well.

Pretty much.  We're using time exactly like we're using money, which means that whatever time you don't use in one stage will get rolled over into the next stage.

You've earned an additional $2,326,020.

1) I would like to spend 500 hours fundraising.

You've earned $2,528,310.

You've earned $503,450.

------------

Guys, I'm in the process of creating two new threads; one for each party, where I'll post everything there in a much simpler format.  This way, you and I will be able to keep track of your available money and time, and of course your campaigns.  Stay tuned for that in a little while.

This might be a dumb question but you have 2,000 hours just for Iowa or for the whole thing?

It's a snowball effect.  You have 2000 hours in the run-up to Iowa, and however much of that time you don't use will be carried over to the next primary.  As New Hampshire is 60 campaign hours after Iowa, that means that there'd be 2060 hours to use if you didn't use any at all in Iowa.  Does that make sense?

Arage's One and Only Ad-for 750k

Ad-"Trust"

(Ad fades from split second black screen to Gov. Arage in a button down blue long sleeve shirt and khaki pants standing infront of a corn field.)

Arage: "Hello Iowa, I'd like to take a moment of your time to introduce myself. I'm Governor Richard G. Arage of Indiana, and I'm running for the honor of being your president...

(continues...as photos of Arages life are shown on screen)

...I'm a born and raised midwesterner familiar to our shared values of honest and hard work. I've spent my entire life working in Indiana for the people of Indiana...

(back to Arage)

...And I think its time for a breath of fresh air in Washington. I think its time to choose freedom and keep Washington in check...

...I believe that the people of Iowa, and not Washington burecrats, know whats best for themselves and for Iowa, I will work to transfer more power, more choice, more freedom to you...so that you can make the best decisions for you and your family.

I ask you to choose freedom and choose me, Richard G. Arage at the Iowa Caucus...

I'm Richard G. Arage and I authorized this message"

(Fades to black)

I'm actually working on some form of pre-polls as we speak.  I'm just getting slowly buried under everything at the same time. Wink

My advert... probably awful and as hackneyed as they come, but hey, I've no experiance or knowledge of advertising...

===
Shots of the White House, Congress in session etc. Washington basically

Voiceover: Something is rotten at the heart of our Government...

Shots of lobbyists, Congressmen and other politicians talking to lobbyists

Voiceover: Sometimes it seems that politicians these days care more about lining their own pockets and boosting their own ego's, than running the country in a responsible way...

Graphic: chart shows the ever-rising deficit

...or helping out those in need...

Shots of family farmers having to sell up due to financial pressures, victims of Hurricane Katrina and some homeless people

Voiceover: All of this could be about to change...

Shot of cornfields in sunlight

Voiceover: The Reverend Al Widdershins is the man that can put all of this right.

Shots of Rev. Widdershins preaching to crowds, shaking hands with children etc

Voiceover: The Reverend Widdershins is not a politician, he is a man of God with a reputation for compassion, clear thinking and honesty...

Shots of Rev. Widdershins helping in a soup kitchen

...and he understands what ordinary folk think because he is one of us, not one of Them.

He has ideas. He has solutions. He is one of Us.

---
I'm Al Widdershins and I approve of this message

Alright, I've posted some pre-polls in the overview threads.  Take a look, and decide if you want to revise any parts of your campaigns.  But remember that those pre-polls have not taken any of your campaigning thus far into account, so don't be alarmed if you're currently trailing.

I'm also going to post simplified summaries of each of your campaigns in those threads, so that we don't all get lost trying to find what you said where and when.  I'll try and do that tomorrow.

If you've posted some fundraising hours, I'll post your earnings in the balance sheets in those threads too ASAP.

Good job, but I have a question, do we have up to 2000 hours in Iowa or for just 2000 hours for the whole primary?
