-a Democrat
-not Donald Trump

which unfortunately means that many people will hold him to higher standards.

(Not that there aren't legitimate criticisms of Booker. But "What about Trump" will not work sadly.)

I will agree that off all the things that may make Booker a poor choice for 2020, marrying someone younger than him isn't one.

Yes, unfortunately some on the right would probably trot out some pretty racist sh¡t about their relationship. I'm not even entirely sure what, but they'll come up with something. They always do.

Yes not that there are not problems with him. He seems like an extremely decent human being but also is too close to Big Pharma for my personal liking.
