I've considered myself independent for years, but I used to be Republican; even still, 2016 was the first year I voted Democrat.

I will never support Trump, and in fact, I will now never support another Republican presidential candidate.  I'm full Democrat now.  Changing my avatar.

Sad!

They're not welcome anyway. We won without them thanks to Trump Democrats.

More like you got a few people who didn't normally vote and then a whole lot of Dems didn't show up.

No. We got the Trump Democrats.
We did get some new voters too.

Trump won like 7% of Democrats, LOL.  There aren't any Trump Democrats.

The exit poll says 9%, which is at least higher than what Romney got in 2012.  At the same time, Trump's share of the Republican was down a bit from Romney's share in 2012.  So yes, it looks like there was a bit more crossover voting than normal.

Just saying, didn't Reagan get like 20%??

Actually 26%.  Tongue

Yeah, Trump didn't really win very many crossover votes by historical standards.  Just more than Romney did.

Don't trust the flawed exit polls. Trump won more Democrats, or else he wouldn't have won the election.
