BBC reporting speculation that Corbyn may have won on the first count.

(Key word: "speculation".)

It'll frankly be a big surprise if he hasn't.

A senior NEC source has told the BBC Corbyn has won, but won't be drawn on the scale.

He certainly was a bit louder than he needed to be. Were the mikes not working properly?

Jamie Reed has resigned as Shadow Health Minister; didn't even wait until the speech finished.

Jeremy Corbyn has pulled out of The Andrew Marr Show on the BBC tomorrow. Either he's wrecked his voice from that speech or the team really don't want to subject him to an extensive broadcast interview.

The fact that the Lib Dems are decimated will be of a great help to the Labour Party over the next few years.

Not really, there's no source of votes left there.

Gillian Duffy (the "bigoted" woman from the 2010 campaign) has said she won't be voting for Labour again.

Second resignation: Rachel Reeves, Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary. She's currently on maternity leave but will return to backbenches as too many differences with Corbyn.

Corbyn has now said that he intends to share out the leading role at PMQs with other MPs... er, what?

May be a sign that he intends to be a Chairman style of leader rather than a Leader style of leader. Which may be for the best...

It's got two rather big drawbacks... it allows the Tories to paint him as a coward and runs the real risk of him being overshadowed by other ministers if they do better than him.

It might be a good choice for Labour. Or it might keep the Tories in power for the next 20 years.
That's the worry I have. It could be 1983 all over again.

Or worse.

Yes, it's moved to the right if anything.

He may want this.

He may well do... but it's going to be taken as a sign of weakness.

Also, I note on Twitter than there's a post about millions of Blairites crying out and being suddenly silenced... which suggests people haven't actually remembered what happened in that film.

Jamie Reed has probably earned himself a small bit in the history books, that's for sure. I would not be surprised if he gets de-selected.

Tom Watson has said that there's got to a debate in the party over Trident and NATO...

Also, the Survation snap poll does not make for good reading.
