We're not quite being told the whole story as usual.

Do you feel like you're kinda out of the loop yourself on this one?

I just spent some time reading classic Update. Do you guys remember that flashback episode about Bushie's favorite high school teacher (the one who said that Adolf Hitler was Abraham Lincoln's son)? Great stuff!

I knew this was coming for quite a while but I still find it depressing. It probably doesn't help that I've been pretty depressed lately anyway.

Anyway, sorry to hear about the news, Jeff. I hope you can find something else quickly.

So how many hours of football will you watch Sunday, Jeff?

Bushie is really something.

Do you not see that major changes need to be made if are going to continue down the CADD path, Jeff?

You need to hit the books for hours everyday (instead of watching hours of football).

I really think you need a job that doesn't require "homework" since you'll never do it. Wal-Mart sounds like a much better fit for you.

You don't win if you get fired after 2 months on the job. You are not a good drafter either. You can be if you put your mind to it, admit you were lazy and need to improve, and do what it takes to improve yourself, but you won't get anywhere if you continue to act as if you were blameless and continue with your prideful attitude.

Bushie is one of the most prideful persons I have come across.

Perhaps I am prideful, but I believe in myself and I believe in what I can do.  I didn't win by losing my job, but I didn't lose, either.

Again, the focus is no longer on the firing, rather I am focused on doing what I can to improve on my skills and finding a job that matches those skills.

What are you doing to improve on your skills? Watching more football? Be honest.

You need the kind of job that you don't need to take home with you.

This is a man who believes he can't do anything positive for himself without help from a sky spook so...

Hi, guys, I am just going to let you believe whatever you want about me.  I'll be over here living life and doing what I need to do to make the necessary changes to get a good career established.

Have Mama and Papa Bushie suggested that you move back in with them?

No.  Now, if I get a job in Oklahoma City before my lease is up here, then I will stay with Grandma, but that wouldn't be out of a need of full support.  They firmly believe, like I do, that I will get a job very soon.

The question is will you keep the job after you get it though? You haven't had much luck in that department yet.

Uh oh, the family dinners are back again. Bushie will crack 300 lbs. in October for sure.

On the plus side, I'm sure these meals will result in some "productive dumps".

I'm going to be pretty upset if Bushie doesn't have lunch with J-Mann.

I wish Bushie would meet with J-Mann, but I know he won't. He'll be too busy playing on his tablet while his family sits around the TV.

I'll definitely take laziness over;

"Mom, Dad, I'm going to leave a bit early to meet with a friend for dinner in Kansas City"

"Oh you most certainly will be doing no such thing, young man!  Sit down and talk to your grandmother about bridge club!"

"Yes, sir."

"Jeff, what's this I hear about you talking to strangers on the Interweb? Your father and I are very upset with you. Go sit in the train room and we'll come in to discuss this in a little while!"

Hopefully he'll have enough time to get some sidejackin' in!

I can just see Bushie fiddling with that tablet of his for hours while the tribe sits together solemnly in front of the television. That definitely sounds like a better use of his time than a nice lunch and frank discussion with J-Mann.

One thing I do envy about Bushie is that his perception of time is still very childlike where days last forever and 7-10 years is a long ways off.

I wish my life moved that slowly.

Nice observation.

The Facebooks just lit up with news of an AutoCADD interview this Friday.  I'm surprised Our Hero hasn't dropped the happy bomb here yet.

It's hard for me to get very excited about that.

Yay, another job he might hold on to for a month or so (if they actually hire him)!

Wait Bushie has been normally eating two servings for dinner this whole time???

Well that explains a lot.

Yep. Two servings of dinner = twice the weight of a normal 5'7'' man.

I am looking forward to this interview on Friday.  It will only be 3 days after I officially got let go from my previous job.  If the Lord blesses me with this job, I know, without a doubt, there are things I need to do differently if I want to keep this longer than a couple months.  I fully intend on making the necessary changes wherever I find them.

I thought you didn't even know where to start with the material? So how can you make any changes?

Let's be honest, you're not going to change anything. You're just hoping that the next boss won't care about how sloppy your work is. Guess again, my friend.

Yep. I can't imagine our Bushie trying to deal with that stuff.

It might be time to start hawking vacuum cleaners again.
