Right in the middle, 20, Colin Powell.

That quiz doesn't work very well for me since I'm outside American mainstream ideology.

On fiscal issues, you rank as a strong conservative (84).
On non fiscal issues, you rank as a centrist (52).

On the other test I got:

Half of these tests think I am a Green and the other half think I am a Libertarian-Liberal Hybrid (which is right if anything is).

However the best test has to be the PoFo Quiz.

----------------------------------------------

As for the PoFo Quiz...

Overall, the PoliticsForum quiz considers you a materialist, non-absolutist, controlled-market kind of person, who doesn't sound like a Marxist.

These characteristics would put you in the overall category of Uncategorisable Materialist. Your natural home at PoliticsForum would be the Morals & Ethics area.

Individual vs Social

You scored 47 out of 100 on a scale of Individual vs Social. This means that politically you are neither more nor less likely to value the need for group actions and group benefit over individual enterprise and benefit.

Theist vs Materialist

You scored 89 out of 100 on a scale of Theist vs Materialist. This means that politically you are more likely to believe that religion and spirituality are superstitions that should not inform political debate.

Big Government vs Small Government

You scored 56 out of 100 on a scale of Big Government vs Small Government. This means that politically you are neither more nor less likely to believe that government should keep out of legislating social policies, leaving such decisions to individuals.

Nationalist vs Internationalist

You scored 52 out of 100 on a scale of Nationalist vs Internationalist. This means that politically you are neither more nor less likely to favour international bodies over national ones.

Protectionist vs Free Trader

You scored 53 out of 100 on a scale of Protectionist vs Free Trader. This means that politically you are neither more nor less likely to favour free trade over protectionist policies.

Absolutist vs Non-Absolutist

You scored 61 out of 100 on a scale of Absolutist vs Non Absolutist. This means that politically you are less likely to believe that there is an absolute truth that may guide your ideological beliefs.

Controlled Market vs Liberal Market

You scored 39 out of 100 on a scale of Controlled Market vs Liberal Market. This means that politically you are more likely to believe that there is need for government regulation of industry.

Marxist vs. Non-Marxist

You scored 61 out of 100 on a scale of Marxist vs Non-Marxist. This means that politically you are less likely to follow the philosophies of Marx.

Interesting that so many of the Conservatives are getting Chuck as their #1 or 2 result.

What's interesting about that? I don't think anyone was expecting them to get Obama as #2.

For me:
Chuck Baldwin (Constitution) - 87.10% match
Bob Barr (Libertarian) - 58.06%
John McCain (Republican) - 51.61%
Ralph Nader (Independant) - 22.58%
Barack Obama (Democrat) - 19.35%
Cynthia McKinney (Green Party) - 16.13%

I appear to be a collectivist, theist, socially centrist, internationalist, protectionist, absolutist, socialist revisionist Marxist. Politics Forum calls me a socially-orientated, theist, internationalist, controlled-market kind of person and a borderline internationalist.

This is a good test.

You got 98 points.

Looky here, we've got a Center-Right person. You're most likely a Christian who's displeased at the lack of moral fiber in today's society, right? Even though you are constantly berated by the media, your policies likely are the best for a strong America. For fun, here are where some other major political figures would score (out of 144): George W. Bush: 94 John Kerry: 58 Ralph Nader: 12 Howard Dean: 34 Colin Powell: 82 Joe Lieberman: 70 John Edwards: 52 Harold Browne: 90 Michael Savage: 108 Me: 104

Evidently the quizmaker has no concept of libertarianism.

You got 52 points.

Center Left. You're probably a mainstream Democrat. Did you try to figure out why we deserved to be attacked on 9/11? Do you believe that people will still discriminate even withall the laws about? I thought so. For fun, here are where some other major political figures would score (out of 144): George W. Evidently the quizmaker has no concept of libertarianism.
The quizmaker is an obvious Fox News-watching wingnut, which just makes it funnier.

I gamed it to see what he would say about a far-leftist:

Furthermore, there's no far-rightist blurb. Even if you score 144 points, he'll say that you are center-right. Roll Eyes
