Democratic-Republican. Of the Presidents in this time:
1. Washington(barely ahead of Madison)
2. Madison

3. Jefferson

4. Adams and Monroe

The Federalist Party's monarchist sympathies were the worst possible: English. Even a Prussian prince would be better than some English prince.

I think this is probably right, except I'd put a little more of a gap between Washington and Madison.  Washington is #2/#3 all time, for me.

How many people who voted Federalist in this poll would have switched in the 1800s?

By default, everyone.
I mean 1800s as a decade. I think I would have switched probably, but I wasn't sure who else would.

I would have been a Federalist (D)

• Belief in a strong federal system of governance
• Promotion of a fiscally sound and nationalistic government
• Federalism
• Nationalism
• Industrialization
• Promoted engagement in manufacturing and commerce.
• Supported the creation of a strong national bank.
• Promoted a strong and active foreign policy, especially through friendship and trade with Britain.
• Sponsored the Alien and Sedition Acts, which increased residency requirements for citizenship and expanded the deportation of aliens.
• Favored factories, banking, and trade over agriculture.
• Fostered the creation of a national judicial system via the U.S. Supreme Court.
• Supported the creation of the U.S. Navy and the expansion of the Army.
• Preferred a duty on imports rather than direct taxation for the purposes of raising revenue.

Agreed, but Madison is number eight, at worst, for me.

After reading the Federalist and Anti-Federalist papers I probably would have been a D-R of a rather radical stripe.
The Democratic-Republican Party was co-founded by one of the writers of the Federalist Papers. IIRC, Jefferson was considered more radical than Madison for their party.

Anyone who is a lefty and says they're a federalist, are either not a lefty or not a federalist.

Anyway, I'd be in a radical northern section of the democratic Republican Party, the forefathers of American Liberalism, aside from their support for slavery, which the federalist supported given its base with landowning southern elites, alongside the merchant alike and Protestant racists in the north. Would have been supporter of burr, a radical democrat in my eye, didn't he champion the cause of universal white male sufferage or even sme sort of women's sufferage.

I'd vote for whomever my landlord told me to.

Which would've been federalist.
