Per exit polls, Hickenlooper to hang on in CO (barely), but Udall will fall badly.

It looks like Charlie Baker may have this in MA.

Hickenlooper should be fine. He is winning Jefferson county 50-46
The exit polls for him aren't great, but they may be good enough. Of course, he was running ahead of Udall who ran a bad campaign.

How about some polling data from MA? There's nothing available.

Coakley moves ahead in MA. This would actually be a huge disappointment for the GOP if they lost this one.  Where is Baker's margin in southeast MA?

I just saw Baker move back in some websites. This is probably going to be razor close.
Yes, it's MA, but it shouldn't be that close considering he was ahead and most Republicans are running ahead of their polls so far tonight.

What a huge, huge disappointment for Charlie Baker if he loses. I like blue state republicans. Yikes.

I'm sorry. I'm watching my party lose my state's governorship for the 2nd time in 50 years.
I doubt that happens, although the showing isn't good.

Boy oh boy. Brownback may pull this out too.  GOP landslide happened tonight folks.  Hickenlooper really struggled.

It's as if the Democrats were overpolled by an average of five points in most races. So it seems.

Brownback wasn't up in a single poll I believe for the last month.  Roberts' margin is far bigger than expected.

The only thing ironically that may go well for the Democrats tonight is that Coakley may win in MA, which is depressing for many Republicans and Independents.

Worth noting that Milne needs to hit 50% to win, due to Vermont's law. If you don't hit 50%, the legislature chooses the governor, so Shumlin still wins.

Really? That's.... interesting.
That is true, but in '02, Doug Racine conceded to Jim Douglas won who 44-42% and Douglas became governor until 2009.

Does Davis still have a shot in KS? Where is the remaining vote? That would actually be a pretty big upset tonight.

I believe some smaller papers have called the CO race for Hickenlooper, which still shows the GOP is weak in CO.  Udall's loss was only five points too.

Healey took away votes from Gina Raimondo in Rhode Island, he made that race a lot closer than some people thought.

Obviously I was very excited with the Massachusetts, Maryland, Wisconsin and Michigan results. I am stunned about how close the race in Vermont was. The RGA did very well in New England.

I am disappointed with the results in Colorado and Connecticut. I figured Malloy and Hickenlooper had it (even though I made biased predictions Wink, but it stings losing that close.
Obviously in the end, it's about winning and the margin really doesn't matter, but I'm surprised you're not a big displeased about the MA margin, which was closer than many polls showed and Coakley seemed to be one of the few Democrats who actually beat the polls.
