Siena polls NY-20, Murphy leads

Siena polls are probably all we're going to get of this area - thing to remember is that Siena is crap pollster.

Basically true but these numbers don't seem very unreasonable. Murphy is a pretty good fit for the district ideologically speaking (unlike Hall in NY-19) and he seems to have something of a joke opponent (unlike Hall again). That said, I did finally see a Murphy advertisement on television the other day and it was horrible (for the record).

Ive been phone banking for Murphy and surprisingly, many of the Republicans I called strongly supported him. 

I have a friend who is a 20-year-old ''libertarian'' and registered Republican. He voted for Murphy in the special election and he plans to do so again in November.
