This has been a problem since 1995.

how many dead babies does it take to paint a house?

It depends on how hard you throw them.

And just as many kids die die in car related fatalities, so let's ban cars and guns 🙄🙄

If only guns were regulated like cars.

Guns are. If your 12 year old gets the keys to your car and takes it for a drive and ends up hitting another person and killing them. Is it the car's fault? Do you cry out for the ban of all cars?

To get a car one must:

Take a couple months of instruction including hours and hours of supervised training
Pass a written and practical exam to be allowed even supervised occassional use of a vehicle
pass another such test to actually use a vehicle full time
have one's eyesight checked initially and every couple years, and be required to wear glasses to drive if not testing satisfactory.
maintain and regularly renew a license to drive
maintain and regularly renew registration of one's vehicle.

to get gun one must:
wait 3 days for a waiting period, even if if your criminal background check isn't completed
have at least $50

in what fantasy world do you live in where "guns are" regulated like cars??

Hint: You're just competely wrong.

Not to mention that the whole point of cars is to serve a far more beneficial purpose.

Keeping rapists and murderers from victimizing our families is not a beneficial purpose?

If you live in a paranoid fantasy world where such things are legitimate concerns of rational people, sure.  You might want to stay indoors over the next few days.  I hear people go around knocking on doors dressed like evildoers and extort candy from people.  It's horrible.

Besides, you seem to have missed my use of the words "far more".  That's okay.  You can read my sentence again if you'd like; it's still there.
