Opinion of Wade Hampton county, AK

Nobody's even sure what this county's real name is.  Wikipedia says it is the "Kusilvak Census Area."  Apparently it was renamed because the real Wade Hampton was a civil war general who became a KKK lunatic with his own paramilitary arm to help him get elected senator.  And then as senator he named a part of Alaska after himself, I guess, and that part of Alaska went on to vote for a black man in the GOP primary.

Anybody that votes for Carson is an HP. During the peak of the Carson surge, my neighbors at my father's New Hampshire house put Carson signs all over their yard, and they seemed to be trying to put them as close to my house as possible without actually putting them in my yard. Not long after, they quickly and uneventfully got taken down, and it wasn't long before they were replaced with some Trump signs.

Not anymore. The name was changed after the Charleston church shooting and places everywhere were taking down Confederate flags and symbols. Supposedly the locals were never fond of it because in addition to the obvious, Wade Hampton had never even been to Alaska and had no connection there, and the name got pushed through by his bureaucrat son-in-law.

The vast majority of the population of ~7500 people are impoverished native americans and the unemployment rate is over 25%.

Kinda makes sense, I guess, these people wouldn't vote for the establishment or for Trump and his rhetoric, so the author of some inspiring books will do.

Does anybody know if that census area (county equivalent) map is actually correct? I thought Cruz won the Fairbanks area big.
