Okay, seriously. Will none of you budge to the idea of Foley winning? That poll, though likely trash, showed that he had the momentum. It will not be a landslide, but come on. 2 leads, 2 ties. The advantage is obvious.

I'm personally more worried about the Malloy internal that had him as tied. Now I've gone from "confident" to "hoping".

Foley clearly has the momentum here

I don't think anyone should be worried about Malloy losing. He is a horrible governor. His ideas may seem nice to outsiders on paper, but to actual residents who have bore the blunt of them, they're awful. I do not care about it politically, as most who want him to win do. This man has to go because he is incompetent. I'm saying the same with Corbett, and I'll say it with Malloy.

Disclaimer:  I'm actively volunteering for McKinney.

I think Foley will lose to Malloy, but I really think McKinney could beat Malloy.  He is a more moderate Republican, but conservative in areas where Republicans are angry with Malloy (save gun control, which will cost him *some* votes, but IDK that it'll be enough to prevent victory).  Malloy's team has been pretty concerned about McKinney and friends I know who work for Malloy have voiced more concern agains McKinney than against Malloy.  Personally, McKinney is my horse, and I won't support Foley against Malloy.

Foley has a ton of baggage and his only political achievement is an appointment as Ambassador to Ireland that was given to him b/c he gave Bush a lot of money.  He's not electable, as far as I'm concerned.

As for the primary, momentum has been shifting to McKinney, but, unfortunately, I don't think it will be enough.

This is just your bias talking. I would support whoever goes against Malloy. He NEEDS to be stopped.

Did "you didn't build that" mortally wound Obama? No. This is the same silly season grasping for straws

Because voters are smart enough to not believe the Republican spin on that quote.

And when people find this quote, they'll realize Foley was inciting personal responsibility for ones actions, not directly insulting people.

"You have failed, because you have lost these jobs."

"You have failed, because you have lost these jobs."

"You have failed, because you have lost these jobs."

"You have failed, because you have lost these jobs."

"You have failed, because you have lost these jobs."

"You have failed, because you have lost these jobs."

"You have failed, because you have lost these jobs."

Yeah. PERSONAL. RESPONSIBILITY. Yes it's harsh, but he's not sugar coating it.

A huge problem with today's politics is the fact that each side takes glee in the other side's failure.

Don't go endorsing an equally awful man, though.

Yeah I've checked. Only one online story, and absolutely nothing from morning news shows.

I've found a full video of what happened.  It's terrible, for a lot of reasons.  Osten looks like a "witch" because she won't given Foley a chance to speak, nor does the other angry employee, and what's clear is they wore Foley down to the point where he got frustrated and lashed out, but Foley does not look like gubernatorial material.  You need to be a lot more personable to win; I've met Governor Malloy on several occasions and he is good at meeting with you, Foley seems stiff.

At the same time, his policies are what this state needs right now. We have a high outward migration rate for a reason.
