Since he was revealed to be a top contender to be Ambassador to Germany, what if Jim Gilmore somehow managed to get the Republican nod in 2020, choosing Former Ohio Governor John Kasich as veep over UN Amb. Nikki Haley. On the Democratic side, Joe Biden narrowly won the nomination, and to appease the liberal base has chosen California Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate. Who wins?

I doubt Biden will pick Harris, he would want someone with Nat'l Security credentials unlike Harris does.  And he won't win MO which is a military state.
