Hochul's loss last year was a heartbreaker (so close too!) I hope he picks her.

Cuomo keeps my support and would have my vote. If he ran to govern the country like did New York, I'd support him over most Republicans. He's done a great job, if most Democrats were like him the GOP would be dead politically.

If only because having two right-wing parties would be redundant.

I don't think his statement is true though. Cuomo is essentially a true conservative without all the baggage associated with reactionary right wing politics. All those reactionaries need to go somewhere, and Cuomo isn't nearly racist/sexist/homophobic enough for them.

RIP the WFP this may be the end of them, doubt Teachout gets 50,000 votes.

They probably would. This is the 2010 results:

Green Party - 59,906
Libertarian Party - 48,359
Rent Is Too Damn High Party - 41,129

Assuming a similar turnout, 50,000 votes is only about 1.1% of the total vote.

At least they managed to give him a scare and extract some decent promises from him. It's possible he could go back on them, but that would make him look pretty bad to potential primary voters.
