-The situation in Syria gets worse, and ISIS continues to grow, despite Trump's insistence that he'll "crush" them
-The U.S. cozies up with Russia, straining our relationship with several other countries
-Tensions with China rise substantially
-Trade reform
-The Wall™ gets held up in Congress, due to a few Republicans defecting to block it
-Anger on the left boils over, and a "Green Tea Party" movement starts to form
-Polarization and resentment only get worse
