As I am a glutton for punishment, I will be running for Governor of the Pacific in August.

Potentially competitive Pacific election alert!

I hope so.

I will accept any write-in votes cast for myself in the upcoming Senate election, if it's not too late to do this.

I am a candidate in the special Senate election.
You are welcome to run as a write-in but all announcements must be made 24 hours prior to the opening of the ballot booth.

Just a reminder that I'm running for reelection in the Mideast Assembly (since my declaration was a while ago).

I believe you needed to announce 48 not 24 hours before the election (Thursday at midnight). If I'm wrong someone please correct me. Though you can still run as a write-in

So he should have declared Tuesday midnight at the latest ... alright, he'll have to pull a Murkowski then. Wink

The entire assembly was elected as write-ins not very long ago, it's very possible Smiley

HOLD UP. I looked at our Constitution to be sure

And our Constitution states you must be a legal registered voter in order to be a candidate. Now does forum mean the general forum or JUST Atlas? If it's the general forum then he's fine, but if it's the Atlas forum he's too young.

I thought what was in question is if he declared in time? Doesn't he have to declare 48 hours in advance?

Also, looks like the new amendments need to be added to the Constitution.
