I wouldn't support Hillary, but the ad is creative.

Single payer is an awful system. Also Ted was a lying murderer.

Never heard the quote before, so I probably don't get the joke.

While we don't need more illegals, we could use more immigrants and we certainly could use more nerds.
It gave me a good laugh. Out of curiosity where did you find that?

I do not agree with the political points of those quotes.
The last one I can understand, but why the first two? Also I think I just read my new favorite quote.

There's nothing wrong with encouraging work to be successful, and people should work hard.  However, sheer dumb luck (especially birth circumstances) plays a major role in whether or not someone will be successful in life.  Work is important, but the quote's message is often used by the economic right to discredit programs intended to help the disadvantaged, and I don't agree with the notion that most poor are poor simply because they're lazy, or have some other character flaw.  Though if the quote is just to teach people not to expect success without effort, I guess that's fine.

The second quote is fine, I didn't read it closely enough, sorry about that.
It wasn't meant to talk down to the poor at all, hell im poor myself. It was just something my Grandfather told me when I was little.
