If Labor keeps it up, next time they should run a full slate of candidates. Woodsworth for PM!

And, I don't think Brown's death counts as an assassination, as he died a month after being shot.

But he died from a direct consequence of the shooting?

IRL he got shot in the leg and suffered minor injuries, but eventually the wound got infected and he died of gangrene.

Yes, this. Let's say the same thing happened in this TL (different shooter, obviously). Does that count as an assassination? The jury is out, I guess.

Yup. They ran 20 candidates, but I just realized that one riding had TWO Labour candidates Tongue That's why they're at 19.

With all due respect... this makes absolutely no sense. A party that polled 20% in the previous election doesn't run 20 candidates.

Hell with it. Changing my vote to Progressive because Labour will win all their ridings with or without my vote.

Hey, I don't sh[inks]t on your timeline. It's part of *my* game! Otherwise I'd be pulling results out of my [inks]ss.

FYI Tony, Hatman is using spreadsheets to determine individual seat results. When you get away from actual candidacies, it really screws with that plan. Besides, we're only 2 elections away from the CCF.

Still trying to figure out what to do for the next election. I guess it depends on any new votes or any more changes.

So, at leas 2 people changed their vote since my last update, were are now at:

Liberals: 130 (-6 from last update)
Progressives: 66 (+2)
Labour: 19 (n/c)
Tories: 19 (+5)
Others: 11 (-1)

Everyone who voted Labour pretty much wasted their vote.

Well by definition, everyone can't have wasted their vote, because there were around 20 candidates to be elected. I for one didn't want to be voting for right-wing Liberals or Liberal-enablers when there was a Labour option on the ballot, irrespective of it delivering seats. Hatman had earlier made it clear that the CCF weren't far off, so strong showings for Labour serves as a testament to their necessity (and how it's about time the Liberals were swept away, at least as the leftist option).

Next go-around, Labour needs to get its act together and become a real leftist opposition party.

Obviously you are free do as you want, but I am free to point it out when I think you are making a mistake - and you are more than welcome to do the same if you think something is wrong with my own TL. Wink
