Well Schumer did take over 70% of the vote the last time.

I don't believe he'll do that again, but unfortunately it's almost guaranteed that he will at least break 60% of the vote.

Schumer's staff joked at the time, because he had visited every county twice, that he lost that one county, as the least populous county in the state, because every voter there got the chance to meet him.

How could anyone who's met Schumer like him? I've met him twice over the years and he's as slimy in person as he is on TV.

Where'd you meet him?

I met and shook hands with Schumer as a kid when he was first campaigning for the '98 Senate race outside of Yankee Stadium.

Then a few years later I met him again in a sky box at a Staten Island Yankee game, along with Sheldon Silver and some other assorted refuse.


I wasn't much into politics then, though.
