Would someone care to sponsor the Regional Symbols Act, please?
I still think a referendum like what Clyde proposed is the best option when it comes to choosing a flag, etc. That's how we chose the regional capitol, after all.

L 8.10.4 Voting Legitimacy Act

1.)this act will take effect in the next Lincoln election.

2.) no one shall be able to register in the new register thread into the Lincoln region from another region and vote if not having been in the region officially for more than a week. This excludes people who are registering newly in the new register thread. These same rules apply when running in an election.
The Northern Constitution already establishes a period of minimum residency as a qualification for the franchise. This bill would violate that provision by waving the requirement for some new citizens and arguably violates the equal protection clause of Article I, Section 1 of the federal constitution (thus making it doubly unconstitutional per the supremacy clause).

I would be much obliged if the Assembly would see fit to consider this Amendment:
