Dabeav, thank you for offering to run. Atlasia is basically fairly similar to America, except i think there's troops in Sudan in Atlasia that might need pulling out. A lot of the social issues we stand for, such as marijuana decriminalization, gay rights, and freedom of speech, still need to be adressed.

I still have to write the platform.

And Dabeav, don't forget to register at the AFLP forum I made.

http://p206.ezboard.com/batlasforumlibertarianparty

I ask ALL registered members of the AFLP to please join this forum and put your two cents in on possible decisions I or others may want to make.

The Darfur situation has had a different result than real life here on the forums

Atlasian pressure forced Sudan to accept a fairly large AU peacekeeping force in Darfur.  Atlasia does not have any troops in Sudan, but it has based a fairly considerable portion of the 2nd Marine Air Wing in Eritrea.  The Gustaf Administration saw to the activation of two additional active duty Army divisions and an emphasis away from R&D towards funding increases in existing proven weapon systems.

Also Badnarikin04...not only do you have to get membership...you need to make sure they vote...if you can get all of your members main email addresses you can use then to communicate with members on election day telling them to vote for your nominated or endorsed candidates.

badnarikin04, it looks like you have your party up and running now.  While we disagree on almost half of the issues, I wish you and your party the best of luck.  Hopefully we will be able to transcend those differences and, together, we can make a better Atlasian government.

Good luck!

I would like to invite all Libertarians to join the United Atlasians for the Protection of the Environment. This is not a socialist organization; we seek to diversify our membership to include socialists, conservatives and libertarians where we can put ideology aside and work together for a cleaner Atlasia.

Well, i'd like to invite more Libertarians to join the ACLU. We are fighting for more social freedom, but we're not exactly like the real ACLU.

I would also urge my fellow Libertarians to join the ACLU.

And register in the AFLP forum! I need feedback!

Badnarik, in case you havent noticed, I posted this on the NEW Atlas Forum Headquarters thread:

King- I will be happy to add a link for the Libertarians, but I think the request should come from within the party, and preferably from the chairman.  Also I think they have an off-site forum, that might be a more appopriate link then their on-site thread.

Fritz, thank you for pointing this out to me. As the chairman, I do ask that you link to our forum. Although only two of us have registered there, I think that would be important to get the rest of the party into the forum.

I'm a party chairman too, Badnarik....try doing what I do: put the link in your signature.  It couldn't hurt, right?

Good idea!

Thanks for your help. Hopefully I'd be allowed to give you a cabinet position if elected. You've been an excellent SFA.

I would suggest that you make a website. As a new person to the forums a website is much easier to navigate than a forum. A good website for building a website is:
www.freewebs.com
