Here Atlas goes again grossly overestimating the name recognition of governors and senators. Mitch McConnell might not even Crack 50%... Cuomo and Feinstein are probably in the 30s in name recognition polls, and only because they're from big states. You have to either run for President, have a sex scandal, or at least be a Sunday show regular to get national name recognition as a politician.
Didn't Devin Nunes, Adam Schiff, Jim Hines, and other politicians gain name recognition from being on the news frequently?
They probably have a little more name recognition among Sunday show viewers, which are a minority of the politically apathetic population.
