I think both of these guys, the Wilsonians and the Jacksonians, are kind of off base. I believe in expanding freedom abroad and increasing quality of life for everyone everywhere. However, I diverge from the Wilsonians when it comes to regime change and democracy promotion. Democracy in the Middle East does not lead to liberalization of society. No candidate is using this when they should be.
