All 10 Russian agents busted by the FBI last week pleaded guilty to conspiracy -- and revealed their real names -- this afternoon, triggering a massive spy swap.
Most of the spies -- including sexy redhead Anne Chapman -- are expected to be flying home to Moscow by tomorrow. Four Western agents serving time in Russian prisons will be freed in return, officials said. They were pardoned this evening by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev as part of the process.

Could you get a link to what the "Western" spies were up to, arrested for, and whom they worked for?

Since The Post says all ten pleaded guilty, it doesn't seem like there's going to be much controversy here -- no trial basically.

I still don't have the remotest clue as to what these "spies" were actually doing to be a cost-effective use of the KGB's resources.   Can someone help me out here?  This program seems to have produced less cost-effective ways of gathering information than WordPress bog
