The Federalist Party can permit membership to people even if they do not agree with the entire party platform so long as they are willing to be team players. We've been successfully played by people before so I understand the suspicion, but I do think we shouldn't expel people without them at least doing something detrimental to the party first. I don't think Talleyrand has.
