Gary Johnson wins the GOP nomination. As a peace sign to religious conservatives, he chooses John Thune from South Dakota as his running mate.

Barack Obama wins the nomination. Joe Biden retires after many years of service.
The President chooses former Senator Evan Bayh from Indiana as his running mate

The GOP Convention is held in Chicago Illinois
The Democratic Convention is held in Boston Massachusetts.

Exactly the same result as Romney vs. Obama except Indiana stays Democrat and New Mexico and Colorado go Republican.
