I don't like the 5 hour/day limit.
I think 9 PM is too early.
The minimum wage clause is redundant.
I don't like clause 5 - it inhibits a minor from working with dangerous machinery in an internship where they are trying to learn something that very may well be their career goal.
Clause 6 is absolutely ridiculous - coming from someone who has worked 7 years in the food industry.

The first bullet of Section 1 was also changed from the original.  I don't have time to make other comparisons, but I know that at least has to be fixed.

OK... Everybody stop.  This is becoming a clustermess... now we're eliminating clauses and not even saying so.

This is where we stand:

I want one single amendment that strikes out anything to be removed and bolds anything to be added.  I don't want a pyramid of 5 chain quoted posts.  Either quote this post, or the original post.

OK.  That still didn't do what I asked, but since you're the bill creator, it's irrelevant, and the bill now stands as follows:

Now, questions:

1. What does "The following guidelines shall not apply to family-run businesses or farms." apply to?  Is it applying to Section 2?

2. Is that intended to be interpreted as "farms and family-run businesses" or "family-run businesses and family-run farms"?

Well so are we excluding all farms or just family farms?  Oldiesfreak, your amendment would exclude all farms.  Is that really what we want?

Seeing no further debate in over 24 hours, this bill is now brought to a final vote.  Members will vote AYE, NAY, or ABSTAIN.  This will be a 48-hour vote.

Voting is now closed.  The AYEs are 4, and the NAYs are 0, with 1 not voting.  The AYEs have it, and the bill is passed.  The bill is now passed onto the Governor for his signature or veto.
