Because it would be better to do it at another point in the four year political cycle?

My post was meant to be utterly cynical and emotionless, so following the same logic, yes, of course. Bloody news are always something terrible and depressing, but if I could choose when - but not if - they happen, I'd rather not have them polluting an electoral campaign.
