CORRECTION: Sanders has a 0% chance to win the nomination now. None. Nada. Zilch.

Ok Dailybeast.

Sanders is still a threat. I think it depends on what happens next. I think it will be awhile for another favorable state to come his way though other than Ohio or Michigan.

That's his problem. He needs to win big states like Ohio and Michigan, but he's unlikely to do so.

Most Americans don't understand this but Baltimore is more culturally southern than the DC metro area; its white working class migrants tended to come from rural farming communities in the South rather than Europe. Hence the bizarre "Balmer" accent that has a distinctly Southern twang.

Is that what I kept hearing in O'Malley's voice?

Don't worry, according to Tad Devine he'll win New York because he is a Brooklyn guy.

And yes, Virginia is a Southern state.

Not anymore. It's more of a mid-Atlantic state now and in the last two elections it voted almost exactly as the nation.
Virginia has nothing in common anymore with South Carolina or Mississippi.

What about Florida, LITERALLY THE MOST SOUTHERN STATE IN THE NATION? It's not much more R than VA is. Geographically and culturally, Virginia and Florida and North Carolina and Georgia are all just as Southern as Louisiana, which has a Democratic Governor, something which VA barely has. Being Southern has more to do than with just politics, otherwise Florida's Miami area and Virginia's DC metro area and Georgia's Atlanta area  and Louisiana's New Orleans area would count them out.

The rules are that you have to register as a Democrat up to one hour before the caucuses start. Sad that the Bernieacs are claiming conspiracy to coverup their ignorance of the rules.

So we should ignore the people who were waiting before that one hour mark because the Party was too slow and didn't get to them in time. Yeah, seems legit.

Also, anyone know if there is any new developments on this end? Were they able to get the people they sent away back? Was it reported on any local TV or radio stations that they would continue to register voters?

Will the Maine Democratic Party announce their results like their GOP counterparts did last night?

Hopefully not.  Unlike the 22 Republican caucus precincts, there are 593 Democratic caucus precincts.  The party officials would still be announcing the results tomorrow morning.

The superdelegates should be a thing of the past. This whole charade has made me lose respect for the DNC and I wouldn't care if Schultz took a hike.

LOL, I didn't know there was an adult size of precincts.

No worries, they're going to adhere to the will of the people by voting for Clinton at the DNC.

EDIT:  I see CNN.com filling up with the results.  74% already in and Sanders has a sizeable lead.

Seeing lots of results on the NYT page. Looks like 60+% Sanders at this point.

Is that some kind of fad, withholding the results for hours and then dumping them at once?

Not an awful outcome for Clinton all-things considered. But congrats to Sanders.

He does veer off on tangents sometimes, but there is no person I've ever wanted to see become president more in my lifetime.
